Impact Deal: The Third Edition of the European Data-Driven Acceleration Program Kicks Off
The third edition of Impact Deal, the European data-driven acceleration program promoted by Fondazione CRT, OGR Torino, and Microsoft, has officially started. The program is dedicated to companies combining innovation with social and environmental impact.
On January 15, the kick-off event for the new edition took place at OGR Tech, the innovation hub of OGR Torino, welcoming the 29 selected companies chosen from 130 applications across Europe. These numbers show significant growth compared to previous editions, highlighting the program’s increasing appeal and consolidation.
The event featured contributions from Christian Racca, Program Manager of Impact Deal, Stefania Coni, Head of International Activities at Fondazione CRT, Matteo Pessione, OGR Tech Coordinator at OGR Torino, Matteo Mille, Chief Sales Enablement & Operations at Microsoft Italy, Ciro Cattuto, Scientific Director of ISI Foundation, and Nicolò Gozzi, Senior Research Scientist at ISI Foundation.
Impact Deal: The Program
Impact Deal is Europe’s first acceleration program focused on social and environmental impact, leveraging data-driven approaches. It supports innovative and concrete solutions through a six-month journey combining training, mentorship, and strategic partnerships, with a focus on data application to create positive impact.
Through the Data Club, a network of public and private partners—including the City of Turin, Banca Sella, Tim, Windtre, Almawave, Advaneo GmbH, Cuebiq, Open Data Hub, and Planet Smart City—startups gain access to exclusive datasets.
Thanks to ISI Foundation’s scientific supervision, TOP-IX’s operational management, and strategic partners such as Impact Europe, Ashoka, Impact Hub, and Torino Social Impact, the program provides unique resources. These include a robust network of mentors, experts, and investors, networking opportunities within the European impact ecosystem, and a growing community of successful alumni. This year, Digital Innovation Hub Piemonte and the Mesap Innovation Cluster are creating new engagement opportunities for local businesses.
