The CRT Foundation for Modern and Contemporary Art was established in 2000 to enrich and enhance the cultural and artistic heritage of Turin and Piedmont. This was accomplished firstly through the acquisition of new works of art available to visitors at GAM and Rivoli Castle (870 works of art worth 40 million euros to date); then through actions and projects aimed at developing, strengthening and making the entire system more efficient. In order to bring Contemporary Art closer to an even wider audience, the Foundation acts on several fronts: promotion (through the support of the Contemporary Art Communication Programme), realisation (through the participation in the most important events of the Piedmont cultural circuit), training and Education (with the projects OGR Public Programme, OGR YOU and ZonArte).
