Fondazione CRT is launching the project “Talents for the Community – building new leadership”, an innovative training course aimed at people who work every day for the enhancement of civic, social and economic development of local communities.
The aim of the course is to provide tools to enhance the effectiveness of the action of operators in their communities, combining personal commitment with a better understanding of the phenomena that affect local communities today, including metropolitan communities, and a set of skills to improve the design, management and promotion of initiatives in the area.
The course is divided into the following modules:
- General Framework
- Technical Management Tools
- Case Studies in-depth
- Workshop and Project and Proposal Creation in small groups.
The course is managed by Fondazione CRT in collaboration with Consorzio AAster. The scientific direction is entrusted to Prof. Aldo Bonomi. Cottino Foundation participates in the project by providing the course venue and organising a teaching module and workshop activities through Cottino Social Impact Campus. Social Consortium Il Filo da Tessere, also collaborates in the project and takes care of general coordination and organisational support. All organisational costs are borne by Fondazione CRT, participants do not have to pay any costs.
The course is run as a hybrid course, alternating face-to-face and distance learning. Classes are held on Saturdays. Five weeks also include an additional session dedicated to teamwork. The course also foresees the involvement of different organisations in the area committed in managing, implementing or designing animation and local development activities, with whom the participants will interact – in joint sessions and by working in small groups throughout the course – in order to gain experience, skills, models of action, but also to give back insights, suggestions and support.
A didactic interaction is also planned with Political School “Living in the Community” promoted by Fondazione Nuovo Millennio, which has a very high-profile teaching staff.
